Awesome Functional Loft Inspired by the Architecture of an Old Abandoned Cotton Factory
This beautiful loft apartment designed by quattro studio, might be on the smaller side but its layout is super smart! The design makes the most of the compact layout by striking the perfect balance between functionality and openness. Additionally, the small apartment features an elegant feel. It has a lofted office and bedroom, while simultaneously clearing out tons of space for alternative lifestyle necessity.
This apartment further simplifies its interiors to the most basic of elements so as to stretch the space available. Although the dimensions are small, therefore, it is clear that the designer knows how to make everything work in a harmonious way. For instance, the wide open space is adequate for simple home exercises.
Offering beautiful hues, this loft is the perfect exemplification of form and function. The elegant furnishings, attractive coloring, layout of furniture, and use of space goes a long way to show that more is truly less. Everything has a meaningful – almost magical – touch to it. Is it any wonder that this space look both habitable and cozy without overdoing on the décor?
Inspired by the beautiful architecture of an old abandoned Cotton Factory in our home town, we decided to participate in the Evermotion challenge “Whole A Lot Of Loft”. Our main goal was to represent its unique atmosphere the way we saw and experienced it. We selected very carefully every element of the interior and spent a lot of time in modeling, texturing and lighting.
